Meet Dennis

Dennis, Little Dennis start to life wasn’t the best this poor little guy was abandoned on a neighbours door early hours of the morning. Unfortunately the breeder didn’t want him back and the 2 lovely ladies who contacted us wanted what was best for him. He was very underweight and scared of everything around him, when we first got him in even if you went to touch him he would scream and run away.

Dennis is a male Presa Canario X Cane Corso. He will be a large breed and will need someone with large breed experience who knows exactly how to manage and handle a dog with a lot of power behind it.

He went into foster care with one of our amazing Foster’s who has done an outstanding job of getting him back to good health and shown him what love really is this is a little write up from his foster carer Joanna-

Dennis is a very sweet loving boy. He loves kids and bounds around after them wanting to play, he is also the same with cats but mine haven't been very accepting of him trying to play just because of his size although they will all have a good sniff of each other until Dennis gets too excited. He loves a good cuddle for as long as humanly possible and loves a good long nap. Dennis has learned sit, paw and is on his way with stay. He is toilet trained and will go to the door when needing to go out. He is also doing very well with being crate trained, although he sleeps in his crate he doesn't like being away from you at night time but with some more trust and training this can be taught. Dennis would benefit from someone who has lots of time for him as he doesn't like being left alone for long periods of time. Although Dennis is a lazy boy right now he will be a very big dog and I suspect will end up needing a lot of exercise. He loves to play with other dogs but doesn't necessarily know when to stop. He is all long legs and paws so doesn't always know his size. Whoever he end up with is getting a treasure of a fur baby. He will love you with all his little heart.

Dennis is now looking for a forever home if you can give this boy a home where he will continue to get the love and care he deserves you can apply on the link below.

Please note that we are community based, meaning our animals can be located anywhere in the country with our fosters. Please ensure you are able to travel to the animals location to meet them.
