Looking to foster?
LOOK NO FURTHER WE HAVE YOU COVERED
What does fostering mean?
Fostering means to take care of an animal within your home until it has found its forever home. This then frees up more spaces in our rescue to take on more dogs if needed. Once all applications and home checks are complete the animal will then be collected from you to go to their forever home leaving you with the option to take in another foster.
Could you foster?
Do you have space, time and the lifestyle to offer an animal a foster placement? Have you got other pets or children? You need to consider if you would be able to integrate a dog into your home safely, do you have time to take them to follow up appointments such as vet checks and hydrotherapy. Do you work full-time? If so who would be able to take care of the animal whilst you aren’t home. You also have to consider if you could cope with handing the animal to their new owners even though fostering an animal is rewarding it can also be one of the hardest things to do, as once you have helped this dog build certain bonds and witnessed them blossom and grow in confidence it can be very heart-breaking watching them leave.
