Meet Dewie
Dewie, is a 12 month old male staffy cross who was born into rescue and was rehomed but bounced back on his 1st birthday. The reasoning was due to him showing typical signs of adolescent behaviour and pushing boundaries. Dewie loves to steal things he shouldn’t have and had a disagreement with the previous owners father over a dishcloth. It’s important to stipulate that Dewie did not bite, but certainly didn’t want to give the dish cloth up easily.
He’s been in foster for a few weeks now and his wonderful foster has said he just lacks some boundaries and basic training and she is working on this. He’s having lots of walks and this seems to keep him calmer and his mind occupid so it’s important he finds a home that can provide lots of mental and physical stimulation as well as setting firm but kind boundaries.
We would prefer a home with children aged 12 years and older for Dewie and if there is any resident dogs they must enjoy rough play as he’s a young lad that likes a bit of rough and tumble.
If you could give Dewie a active, fun and loving home you can apply for him via the link below.
