Meet Lulu

Lulu, is a beautiful cane corso girl that’s around 6 months old. She might have a bit of Frenchie in there as her mum was a cross breed but her dad was pure bred although she’s very much cane corso.

Lulu needs a very special home. Let me tell you a bit about her. She was born in rescue and had a great upbringing in a multi dog house hold which usually makes them bomb proof. She has however taken her mother’s temperament of being scared of her own shadow. She is extremely scared of other dogs that she doesn’t know, despite being socialised, and this has lead her to become reactive towards them on a walk. Once she knows a dog she is lovely, but she can guard food and toys from other dogs, so for this reason we would prefer her to be an only dog unless with someone very experienced. She is currently living with 6 other dogs with no issues but she was raised with them.

She can be scared of men at first meeting which is crazy to us as we know she’s never had a bad experience with men. We can only assume she’s picked it up from her mum.

Lulu doesn’t like a crate. We have attempted to crate train her but she will get out of it one way or another! She’s a little Houdini that is very intelligent and can open doors and jump high fences!

Lulu needs someone that isn’t afraid to put some time and effort into training her and helping her realise the world isn’t actually so scary. She has a naturally nervous disposition and she needs someone to help her over come this and not nurture it.

Her foster home has to move house in the very near future and can’t keep her for long. It’s not fair for her to keep moving around so she needs somewhere permanent that won’t give up on a frightened little puppy and needs lots of love, and a firm but kind hand to show her the way. If you can give this girl a home she deserves apply below.

Please note that we are community based, meaning our dogs can be located anywhere in the country with our fosters. Please ensure you are able to travel to the dogs location to meet them.
