Meet Wilma
Wilma, was born July 24 she is a female vizla she was relinquished to the rescue at a few days old due to having a cleft palate and needing to be tube fed for the first few weeks of her life. Wilma copes remarkably with her cleft and it doesn’t stop her from being a sassy little firecracker.
Wilma is a very sweet girl who loves a cuddle and thrives on attention, exercise and interaction. She is a very intelligent pup and will need a lot of mental stimulation as she grows. Most vizlas if left a lone for long hours will become bored and become destructive but with proper training and socialization will become a very gentle and well mannered family dog with that being said Vizlas are natural hunters who hunt, point and retrieve on land and in water.
